Hi, Im Ebb!
Ocean Lover | Maker | Keeper of Memories.
I grew up spending most of my childhood on Moreton Island-a sand island off the Queensland coast where the only way in is by barge or boat, and everyone knows the tide times better than the time of day. My parents spent most of their childhood there too—Dad's family at Kooringal, Mum's at Eagers Creek. They taught me everything—reading weather, respecting the ocean, noticing the small things that matter.
I spent my childhood on the water—fishing, diving, exploring every reef and sandbar. By the time I could navigate on my own, I knew my lures, when the current changed and how to read the sky before a storm rolled in. That education didn't come from a classroom. It came from two people who lived it and made sure I did too.
My incredible brother Ben grew up the same way—same water, same lessons, same life shaped by the island.
The Work
Everything I make is designed for the life I actually live—and the people who live it too.
Custom timber signage for beach shacks, shops, homes and spaces that need a bit of character. Handmade from reclaimed timber and a whole lot of heart. Every piece is made with its own character.
The Logbook—two versions, same intention. The 2-year daily format for people who track tides, notice patterns, and want to remember the details that matter. And the gridded journal for sketches, notes, maps, research, whatever needs documenting. This one's personal. My dad's the reason it exists. After he went through a life-changing health event, I realised how much I wished he'd kept a record—the fish he caught, the places he went, the things he found. Stories fade when there's no logbook to bring them back. So I made one. Not just for him, but for me, and maybe for you too.
Daughter of the Drift bags—handmade by my incredible mum. She works from Wynnum Manly sewing quality bags, each one with its own quirky character. I design and hand-print the patches, mum selects the patterns and colours and makes the rest. No two are the same. We started this last year as a creative outlet and a way to stay connected even though we don't live close. The bags are top quality, practical, and built for people who actually use their gear. Mum’s also working on zip-up adventure bags—because why not!
I'm not trying to sell you a lifestyle or the next big trend. I'm just making things for the one I'm already living. If you check the tide chart before you check your phone, if you'd rather be dirty than comfortable, if you know what a wind shift means—this stuff is for you. Thanks for being here.
The Move
Seven years ago: a shed, sight unseen. Air mattress on the floor. Business run off an old door. No power, no plan. Just knew I had to build something.
Seven years ago, I moved to Mission Beach in Far North Queensland. Traded Moreton Bay for the Coral Sea, but kept everything the same passion for salt, wild air, fishing, diving and finding treasures.
I bought a property unseen and converted a little block shed into creative haven . It's where I design, paint, and build everything you see here. Some days I'm on the water if weather permits. Other days I'm in the workshop until the light's gone, hands covered in paint, radio playing, working on a custom sign or prepping another batch of logbooks.
Part of me will always be at Kooringal. I miss it constantly. But Mission Beach is where life's calling me right now-to build something, to make something mine, to see what I'm capable of.
